Potential post idea: mention tools like pre-commit, CI (R CMD check on commits), scheduled runs on CI, "PR commands" (like for R-hub docs), notification settings, and things to do like styling the code, documenting the code, finding typos, checking URLs, going through open issues, following updates upstream (wait for email vs watching development?), etc. How often do you need to do them, how do you remember, how can some tools help you. Encouraging readers to share their setup.

Ideally there'd be some sort of scale and comparisons to things you need to do at home (tidying, changing light bulbs), or maybe not needed.
