Display is blank on Cygwin under windows 7

If anyone has any ideas on why the content doesn't display or things to try under Cygwin. I have to use windows at work unfortunately 😦

@rafaelrinaldi hey no problem. Here is a screenshot showing the app working inside of powershell on the same system and in cygwin the app is running without displaying the same content. Btw, If you can give me some ideas of things to try I am definitely willing to test them out to see if there is an easy work-around.
