Donations. #3

Hey Micah, This is very interesting. Thanks for adding the project. |
It isn't "my" app, just something someone else built that I am using to donate to open source projects with, but I would be happy to try to help you work through the problems you are running into. For the easiest path forward that should "just work", I recommend trying either Brave Browser's built-in wallet (if you already have Brave then you won't need to install anything, just go through the configuration process) or install the MetaMask (https://metamask.io/) browser extension in either Firefox or Chrome (it is the most popular wallet out there). The number one key thing to keep in mind is that when the wallet (whichever you choose) gives you 12 or 24 "recovery words" to remember, you secure them safely. Anyone who has those words has full access to all of the money in your wallet, and if you lose them you cannot recover the crypto in the wallet in any way. If you decide to go with Brave, you can get started here: https://brave.com/wallet/ The FAQ at the bottom has a "How do I start using Brave wallet". Note, you don't need to add any funds to the wallet at this point I don't believe, just to get things configured and you to claim "ownership" of the funding stream. Please don't hesitate to ask if you run into additional trouble with either of those paths forward! |
I really appreciated this line in particular in your Readme:
It encouraged me to start a crypto-currency donation stream that directs a small amount of funds every month to fully open source AI projects that don't have traditional funding streams. Your project is the first I have added to my list, so for now you get the full monthly allotment, but that will go down as other projects get added. You can claim your project and funds by going to https://www.drips.network/app/projects/github/rahulnyk/knowledge_graph and clicking "Claim Project". It will require you to create an Ethereum address (no need to put any money in it) and then add a
FUNDING.json
file to your repository (it will give instructions). If you need additional assistance with receiving the drip let me know.
If you would rather not receive crypto donations, let me know so I can remove your project from my list so the money isn't just sent to /dev/null.
