Autocompletion without .csproj / .sln files

Maybe my usecase is narrow and generally considered a bad practice,
but I would like to use that language server with neovim to edit c# files
without any .sln / .csproj files existing in my workspace

Is it possible?

Because it seems that if it fails to locate those metadata files,
then it doesn't show any autocompletion / hints
