Text selection in continuous scroll mode fails on iOS 12 #101

Expected Behaviour

Text selection can be extended by dragging selection handle.

Observed behaviour

Text selection collapses to a single character.

Steps to reproduce

Build and launch SDKLauncher-iOS on a device or simulator running iOS 12
Select 'moby-dick-20120118.epub'
Select 'Spine Items'
Select 'xchapter_003'
Select right bar button item (share icon) to open Settings popover
Select Scroll > Continuous
Scroll the page several paragraphs (problem does not occur at top of page)
Long-press to select text
Attempt to extend the selection by dragging a selection handle

Additional information

Problem does not occur on iOS 11, so it may be an Apple bug.
