Would it be better to use Git LFS for the audio files?

Maybe? If that would make getting updates from the repo not take a million years?

We're already at 600MB total size (including .git dir). Probably ~200MB just counting the audio files. Git LFS may also be much. (It has a limit of 1GB on the free one)

We don't need these to be versioned, they can be put up anywhere and occasionally replaced.
