Currently we read data from renewables ninja / DIW and format the time series to oemof-B3 format within one script and rule.

It would be more flexible to implement this in a way that other users can easily insert their own time series without doing any coding.
Is this a feature we should implement @jnnr ?
This could be a task for a period after our milestone in case we are running low on time.

Do you have an idea how this would look like? Other timeseries data would have other formats which we do not know now. They would have to be brought into oemof_b3's timeseries format, then they could be used.

I would require a specific format for time series which then can be brought to oemof-B3 format with our functionality. The processing of RE-ninja time series to the required format is a separate step.

Then it depends on how automatic this should work. maybe we can discuss this once the time comes!
