Right now, only English is available. Being Firefox and PaleMoon derived, it supports localization the same way. However it has not been attempted nor distributed. Honestly I don't even know how localization packages are built and distributed. Do you volunteer, @InfoLibre or know someone who would? |
Perhaps one should use Firefox XPI files and adapt them to Artic Fox, like some people did with Mypal: https://github.com/Kiki79250CoC/Mypal68-French-XPI |
@InfoLibre could be a beginning, if you want to try? I would proceed with a Firefox 52 package and check what is missing and try to get them from FF45 or provide them yourself as translation. Since the classic UI is retained, there are still quite some "old strings" (pre-Quantum). Do you want to work on that? |
I could help with verifying french translation, if I've got free time. Artic Fox is interesting for me because it's the only browser working with old 32-bit processors without SSE2 instructions. 2.49.5 version of SeaMonkey works too but it's outdated and its rendering is not as good as Artic Fox's. 'm using it under Windows XP and old computers with serial port, to drive machines, PLC... |
