Some parts of our codebase haven’t been updated in years. It’s time for a cleanup to improve maintainability.

I noticed our authentication module still uses callbacks instead of promises. Refactoring it would simplify error handling. What do you think?

Totally agree! Promises—or even better, async/await—would clean it up nicely. Should we refactor incrementally, or tackle the entire module in one go?

Incremental refactoring is safer. I’ll start with smaller functions first, so we don’t risk breaking everything at once.
