Select polygon layer and change color

I have checked documentations and also example and could not find any reference where we can select layers from existing layer and change style/color to highlight it.

It would be great if any one share how we can achieve to show layer selection. I have tried to render two different set of data however it works on web but on mobile it impacts style of other dataset.
i.e I have two diff geojson data, one is for normal polygons and one for selected one, now If I render both with diff color then whatever render later it override first set of polygons as well. even both have diff set of datas
