Unsupported Proxy Scheme

When I try and use this tool with my teams clusters, I get the below error.
ERROR Could not load cluster <cluster name> and will skip it: Proxy URL had unsupported scheme socks5, should use http:// or https://

It looks like this tool only supports http or https schemes for proxies. Is there a work around for this, and could this tool support socks5 in the future?
