Is the implementation of channels planned?

I've checked the Baileys library (upon which Mudslide is based), but could not find a clear and stable support for channels.
There are 2 open issues (WhiskeySockets/Baileys#549 & WhiskeySockets/Baileys#1012) that discuss channels/newsletters/communities at length.

Without support for channels in Baileys, I can't add support to Mudslide.
