Could anyone tell if we need to request for storage or any other permissions?

react-native-blob-util is a dependency of this project, so it will also need setting up as explained in their installation docs. Their instructions include details of permissions, but I'd suggest testing with the minimum setup first, then adding additional permissions until everything works as required.
