Hey Nicolas,

thank you for sharing this great package!

Unfortunately it seems to clash with the doom emacs distribution.
When i evaluate example-2.el i get the following result:

I am using GNU Emacs 27.1 with the latest release form the doom develop branch.

Pleas let me know if i can provide you any further information to tackle this issue.

Have a nice day,
Marcel

Just realized, describe-face seams to render it correctly:

It might be related to a misplacement of the font offset. Can you try to play with the y offset ? Also, what is the font you're using?

I am using the default Roboto Mono font. What you are seeing in the screenshots above is the evaluation of example-2.el without any modifications.

Can you try on a regular emacs instance (emacs -q)?

I'm also seeing this same behaviour, using vanilla Emacs; also seeing the same when started with emacs -Q. Possibly due to the font I'm using (Pragmata Pro)?

Ah, I think actually it's related to #12 - I'm on a high-resolution monitor & if I make the height much smaller, then I can see (tiny, unaligned) text

Thanks for the report. Let's continue debugging on #12 then.

I confirm this is also happening on a HD Resolution 1080p in vanilla emacs 28.05
