i think you just have to open the projectGenerator.app, point it to the example folder and generate the project.

hi @bemoregt ,as stephan said , just use the project generator. Besides this I recommend to use https://github.com/bakercp/ofxDlib as this addon was deprecated in favour of the aforementioned.
