Flex vs Ruffle

I am sure you are sick of answering flex questions.

As a quick question, did the original flash player include elements of the flex SDK or are these in the SWF files. We have an SWF that fails early in startup with errors like so:

2024-02-21T18:55:33.102534Z ERROR ruffle_core::display_object::movie_clip: Got AVM2 error ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable mx.core::FlexBitmap is not defined. when attempting to assign symbol class com.flexspy.imp.ComponentIcons_Button

Since these classes do exist in flex-sdk I was wondering if there might be interest in attempting to get a fork of apache-flex to compile and work with ruffle

These should come from the SWF files. Either it failed to load some SWF with extra classes, or it's some bug in Ruffle that it didn't load them correctly.
