When I try to run the .jar in the cmd window, I get error "failed to instantiate heap"

When I try to run the .jar in the cmd window as the instruction show, it returns this error:

JVMJ9VM015W Initialization error for library j9gc27(2): Failed to instantiate heap; 2G requested
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

I think I might have to change a value in a .bat file or something...can anyone help me out here?
