I have opened a feature request on the crates.io repository regarding the topic of creating a new category for the kind of projects that are the scope of this WG. (For the exact details see the description of that issue.)
However it seems that the crates.io developers are reluctant to create a new category, given that there isn't much perceived interest in this subject. Therefore I would like to ask the members of this WG to support (or not) this feature request by commenting on that issue.
Moreover, perhaps this is a first real actionable item for this WG, whose outcome although small, might coalesce a community or at least raise the awareness of "languages hosted in Rust". (As currently although there are many projects published on crates.io that fit this category, they are sprinkled all over the place, and some don't even have a category listed.)
Thus after such a category might be created, we could identify potential crates fitting this new category, and contact their authors (for example via issues on their repositories) to make them aware both of the newly created category and the existence of this WG.
