In order to include as many people as possible in the Rust community and since thanks is probably very rewarding, especially for new contributors, how about introducing also other kind of contributors (from what I understand, only source code contributors are included at the moment, right?):
people who reported the issue (that might have caused someone else to create a PR)
people who participated in the triaging, commenting, bisecting, minimizing examples on the issues
people who helped in writing the release notes for the blog or social networks or anything else (I'm thinking especially if there is some translations involved)
people who are writing documentation (guide, books, etc.)
other I'm not thinking about?
I'm aware some of this data might be difficult to get but I'm throwing the idea anyway.
