Background app refresh causes foreground issues

User is not signed in and has single sensor paired to Ruuvi Station.
He has Background app refresh disabled in OS settings for Ruuvi Station.

When app is brought to background it seems that Bluetooth connection is not returned immediately and doing any action in app can be replicated, such as trying to open sensor settings page with multiple taps. Once Bluetooth connection is established it creates multiple sensor settings pages in app for this sensor.

Although it's known to be caused by OS setting being switched off it would be good to investigate if app can be stopped to generate multiple pages like in the video.
