App draining battery in the background

I have a S21 Ultra and Android 14. I have used 10sec bg scan interval for 2+ years without problems. Recently (some months ago I think) Android has started to nag about Ruuvi Station draining my battery:

I get these notifications ~weekly. If I check battery usage stats, Ruuvi Station has not actually consumed a lot of battery. So seems that these notifications are not much related to actual use but background scanning.

Now I set my bg scanning interval to 1min. Let's see if I will still get them or not. Will keep this issue updated. No other actions needed for now.

@andreevdenis have you encountered this same issue? For me my Android phone is not in regular use so I don't see these messages.

I get this notification every week on my S24 Ultra. Background scanning is on. Anything we can do?

Status update: my bg scanning has been set to 1 min and I still get high battery warnings. Will set it to 5 min now.

Setting is now 5min and I still keep getting the warnings. Phone reboot did not help. Will set it to 15min now.
