Ability to open vertical submenu to the left

I have a button that opens a vertical menu like this:

Since this button is on the right side, the submenu opens off the screen. It would be nice to be able to specify the direction in which the submenu opens.

UPDATE: I was able to make it show up on the right with this CSS override:

.menu > :where(li) > :where(ul) {
  left: auto;
  right: 100%;
}

It would still be nice to be able to set the direction using classes though, similar to the dropdown component.
