I have used a 68040 A4000T where I got these hits when opening and quitting the programing. Actually, quitting I see a crash (software failure requester comes up). I don't have translator.library or narrator.library installed.

A few other suggestions:

  1. There should be an option to suppress the warnings if the above libraries are not installed in case the user doesn't care to use them.
  2. Also, in one case the console window opens for the warning requester and the other is a requester. Would be nice to only have the requester to put forth the warnings.

@mypcisamiga can you please check to see if this is still an issue in the latest 1.6.2 version? thanks

Thanks a lot. I need to check a bit more but I think the crash is gone. I am seeing another hit but will open up a different ticket.

Separately, I noticed the following "more information" text is split into separate lines when error requester comes up for the case that translator.library is not installed. Also, if I didn't have latest AmiSSL version 5 installed I got Amissl initialization error. I still had an earlier v5 but that didn't work.

@mypcisamiga is this issue still relevant for AmigaGPT 2.0.2?

Closing due to no memory access violations detected in my testing with Apollo Shield. Please reopen if this is still an issue
