web pages of database #177
Comments
Hi, Liana uses our prior knowledge handling tool OmniPath to access most of its databases. Then Liana uses its own custom client side processing utilities to tailor it according to its needs. Also in R, but especially in the Python side, we plan to move some of these processing functionalities into more database oriented packages, such as OmniPath and NetworkCommons, to make them more broadly available and easier to use. This includes adding new features to OmniPath itself. We probably don't plan with interactive web page for Liana, but we do for OmniPath, especially in OmnipathR and NetworkCommons (heavily under development). We expect to do these only in second half of next year. Something I really curious about, how do you imagine such a web page, what would you use if for, what kind of information would you like to see? It would be a helpful input to hear about this from you. Best, |
Hi Denes, |
Database integration is a feature of liana. Has the author considered making the database interactive with web pages to make it easier to query the database?
