Smart Accounts

At its core, we are building a multi-chain smart-contract wallet that leverages account abstraction to make transactions free and seamless for end consumers. Behind the scenes, Sugarcane uses multiple cross-chain messaging protocols (as redundancy) to route transactions to the intended DeFi destination without requiring the user to change chains nor think about the gas costs. The sign up process is simple. All you need to do is enter an email address and under the hood we use our factory smart contracts to deploy smart contract wallets (backed by SAFEs for asset storage) on all the chains we support.

After onboarding on the mobile app, users can enable biometric or pin verification to sign (but don't pay) for any transactions, and we handle the rest of the signature validation, user op bundling, and cross-chain communication to enter and exit whatever product the user wanted. As a company, we can't do anything to the user's assets because the user is the only signer. This means that Sugarcane is still self-custodial and removes complexity while providing a web2 experience.
