I had a question about how SAIGE handles the DS field in a VCF. Is this field a single float per participant? Are there any other restrictions?
My lab wants to study the associations between the length of genetic repeats and binary traits. Most tools are not designed to perform length-based tests, however, we can code each person's repeat length (summed across both chromosomes) as a dosage, though a dosage that won't fall between 0 and 2. I'm just wanted to check if SAIGE will work with such dosage values, both computationally and if there are any interpretation considerations that come to mind that we would need to be aware of.
