Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Awesome OSS Docs community! We value your participation and aim to maintain a positive and inclusive environment for everyone. To ensure a harmonious experience, we've established the following community guidelines:

1. Be Respectful and Inclusive

  • Treat all members with respect, kindness, and empathy.
  • Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.
  • Encourage and embrace diversity of thought, culture, and experience.

2. Follow Open Source Etiquette

  • Respect intellectual property rights, including copyrights and licenses.
  • Give credit to authors and contributors when appropriate.
  • Follow the project's licensing terms and guidelines for contributions.

3. Keep Discussions Constructive

  • Provide constructive feedback and criticism, focusing on the content and ideas rather than individuals.
  • Refrain from engaging in flame wars, trolling, or any behavior that disrupts productive discussions.

4. Contribute Positively

  • Contribute to the project in a positive and helpful manner.
  • Encourage newcomers and assist them with their questions or contributions.

5. Reporting Issues

  • If you encounter any inappropriate behavior or issues within the community, please report them to the project maintainers

6. Enforcement

  • Violations of these community guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community, depending on the severity of the violation and at the discretion of the project maintainers.

7. Feedback and Suggestions

  • We welcome your feedback and suggestions on how to improve these community guidelines and our community as a whole. Feel free to share your ideas with us.

By participating in the Awesome OSS Docs community, you agree to abide by these guidelines. Together, we can create a supportive and inclusive space for all members.

Thank you for being a part of our community!
