Enchance vumeter display

Hi

Can pwuvcontrol be enhanced with real dB scale calculated and displayed on each inputs and outputs ? What we have in pavucontrol is very bad ;(

I'm not going to change the way dB is calculated next to the volume slider. This must match typical formula like: 20 log10 x

If you mean the tick marks under the slider then I'm open to suggestions if someone has some design mockups.

and how it is calculated ? Because i think that in pavucontrol is very crude.
