I know you've updated to use "yargs"-perhaps you could push this change to npm?

I had to install it as devDependency

The project is abandoned.
Your issue was fixed and merged almost 1.5 years ago but no new release has appeared since January 2020

See above. Still no updates, no releases, noone from maintainers responds. It's kinda obvious for me :-)
