Is it possible to open binary files in a default program on double click?

Say I have an .ods speadsheet in the working dir.

When I click on it, VS Code recognizes it as binary, and displays a warning in a new tab accordingly.

Is it possible to handle a double click on binary files to open them in a default program?

@andreistreltsov - I'm there is a way to overcome this issue, but I won't have any time to look at this for a little while.

Would be a great feature, unfortunatly, I'm unable to help investigate this issue yet.
