Hi Colleagues,
As part of the Starter Scenario tutorial validation ( Invoice Processing and Approval Using SAP Build Process Automation), Link -> https://developers.sap.com/mission.invoice-processing-approval-spa.html , we found that the steps to add the desktop agent to the “Public” environment is missing.
In the prerequisite of the sub-tutorial https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/spa-dox-run-process.html , there is a link to "Agent Management settings to execute the process with an automation". But here, they have not chosen the created environment for adding the agent, not the "Public" environment.
As per the tutorial, we add the agent to the created environment “My environment”. But while deploying the project, we choose the environment as “Public”. Since the agent is not added to the public environment, after the successful trigger of the process, we are not getting the process task in My Inbox application.
Observation: This started working after we added the desktop agent to the “Public” environment. Hence, the tutorial should be updated to add the installed agent to the “Public” environment in the relevant sub-tutorial.
Many thanks & regards,
Baskar
