Could you give me an example on when would you press the pause button?

I considered adding this feature some time ago, but decided to leave it off. I like recording my pulse in short sessions most of them synchronized with my pomodoros.

Yeach, this is true, short sessions are better. But I'm working oft with a lot of small and big pauses.
E.g. I will have puls chart from whole day, but without 1 hour lunch break.
