I have also looked at scalajs-react and it is really a interesting project, and a lot of work has been put into it. Unfortunately I have not tried it with Lift as of yet.

I think I will use the scala.rx library for now, because I feel it gives more freedom to how you can create things.

As long as you create the ScalaJs Facade against the Lift generated AJAX API, I think there should be no problem using scalajs-react.

I will see in the next week if I am able to do better documentation.
