PyPi has latest release 0.8.27 from Feb 3, 2021. Git has latest release tag 0.8.26 from Mar 13, 2020.

So it seems that 0.8.27 was not tagged in git when it was released to PyPi.

Also both of those are releases quite old. Would it be possible release a new hdbscan version? Due for example bug fixes like this #495

I would also be grateful for a new release, especially #457 is a bit painful, if the workaround of installing the current numpy version is not possible in a certain environment (like using both hdbscan and numba in the same environment, where numba depends on numpy<1.21). The fix in 1f9f7ea works well for me.

Same for me. I need to maintain package with both hdbscan and numba. CI is becoming complicated.
A release would be highly celebrated!
Again, thanks a lot for this package.

With the new release of Numpy and the resulting ABI issues that may stem from that when installing HDBSCAN, this would very much be appreciated for quite a number of packages that depend on HDBSCAN!
