As @NelleV mentioned in #3, it might be easier if "we" (the contest organizers and friends) were able to make updates to the website directly.

The simplest approach may be to use this repository as a github pages repository.

To that end, we'd need:

Other suggestions about how to accomplish this are of course also welcome, but this will allow the site to be updated without needing to further demand the time of the already busy and awesome conference organizers.

I've moved this repository to its own organization. There is now a "deployed website" (https://jhepc.github.io/). The build process and push is not automatic, but we know have a url we can reference to.

In that process, I moved this repository to its own. We thus should delete this repository or empty it in some way and redirect to the new one.
