Error with the contact sensors'name with the new iOS 16. #9
Comments
Hi any news on this? |
Maybe it can help but try to rename the sensors and you will see the default name pre wrighten, just have to write it and boom work as magic |
Thank you! |
Sorry if I missed something. I have to rebuild my Homebridge development
box.
If you use one of the GUI configuration tools, each sensor has a default
name and you can set it. I use Modern Hebrew transliterations, but I know
many would prefer a traditional Ashkenazi one.
Gut Shabbos / Shabbat Shalom everyone.

@fadelguy where did you delete the name? Sorry I am a bit new at this. |
Issue still present but here is the tip. @Joshua-Kaplan sorry for the delay |
Hello,
I can see the name in homebridge of the contact sensor, on my iPad running iPad os 15.7 but on devices with iOS 16 all sensors are named as "JewishCalendar".
Maybe with the update apple change the variable name to identify the sensor ?
