Greetings!

When using single_pulse_search.py, what frequency reference is used for the arrival times? Top / Bottom / Center of Band? Inf frequency?

IE in here:

cat CRAB_L1_Band_2024_07_30_17_14_37_DM55.40.singlepulse

  55.40 8.12 2.566701 12937 1

All dedispersion in PRESTO is done with reference to the center of the highest radio frequency channel. That channel doesn't get shifted at all, and so the time stamp in the data corresponds to it. However, for single pulse search, you can search barycentric or topocentric time series, so you need to know which of those you have! But the reference time is still based on the top freq channel.
