Display events in a centered popup when clicking on a date with a close option #1167

When clicking on a date, the page currently scrolls to the bottom, making it difficult to navigate. Instead, events for the selected date should be displayed in the center of the screen with a close button, allowing users to easily view and switch between dates without scrolling.

Thanks!

Thanks for the issue and the desire to contribute.
About this issue and its resolution, don't forget that this should be works on a laptop and a mobile phone.

In the calendar view, when clicking in a selected date, displaying the event in a popup in the center of the screen with a close button and having to close a button each time? I don't think it can be better than the actual behavior.

So for those who want this, is it possible to add a thumb in the issue?
It can help me to know it one or two persons wants this or if it's very blocking actually and all the community wants it :)

Thank you for your feedback! I understand your concerns, but I believe displaying events in a centered popup can enhance usability for both laptop and mobile users. A clear close button would provide a user-friendly way to navigate back to the calendar view.

I agree that gathering community feedback through thumbs or reactions is a great idea. This will help us prioritize features that genuinely improve the experience for everyone.

Thanks again for considering this!
