Nokia & Classic Variant #73

I've got some Nokia SROS devices that don't have the MD-CLI enabled. It looks like I need to define the "classic" variant as the regex seems to match the prompt but when I set the send_command also stops working and fails to find the prompt.

For what it's worth the router prompt is "*A:PEC-PRIV-20# " and the regex from https://github.com/scrapli/scrapli_community/blob/master/scrapli_community/nokia/sros/nokia_sros.py is "pattern=r"^*?[abcd]:[\w]+#\s?$""

Since the prompt pattern seems to match I'm guessing the issue is I'm not defining this properly in my groups file which is why I'm asking here vs the scrapli_community option.

Could you snag logging please? Example here. I dont know much about Nokia things so logs will probably be the only way I can help!

Hah no worries. So it looks like the pattern doesn't account for dashes. I think ^\*?[abcd]:[\w\-]+#\s?$ would work.

You can find where community is installed like python -c "import scrapli_community; print(scrapli_community.__file__)" and then update the pattern here to test that out. If that works we can get that updated on the community side of things!

Ahh I see what you're sayin now. Guess we gotta sort that first 😁

Your original question already told me where to look but I am bad at reading I guess! So if you can try moving the variant --> under the extras section I think that'll be the ticket. Basically everything needs to live under extras other than the "top-level" nornir attributes (host/port/platform/user/pass).
