I have noted this (only ever once), but for the following anime series, there is a discrepancy between the use of Aired order and Absolute order between Overseerr and Sonarr.
In Overseerr, it only reports 1 season available for download, consisting of 24 episodes:
In Sonarr, it reports 2 seasons, each with 12 episodes:
Going by the screenshots only, it appears that Overseer may have grabbed the season information for TMDB, and Sonarr grabbed the information from TVDB.
I don't think this is the fault of either Overseerr or Sonarr necessarily, but I was hoping this would extend into a feature of some sort. If Sonarr always prioritises TVDB (assuming it does because it only works for TV shows), perhaps Overseerr, for TV shows, should prioritise TVDB as well, to line up better with Sonarr, and so there is a better chance the episodes will line up.
This could also extend into some sort of option/notification; When Overseerr detects that there are episode differences between TMDB and TVDB, it could ask which should be used. There could be a setting that says: "What to do when there are differences between TMDB and TVDB (normally occurs for anime series)", with the selectable answers: "Choose TVDB, Choose TMDB, Ask me every time".
Version
1.33.2
Steps to Reproduce
Search for: MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES
Request Season (only 1 will be there)
Check Sonarr (2 seasons will be there)
Only 1 season (Season 1) is requested in Sonarr, not 2
