I think there are pros and cons. Less spacing (i.e., closer proximity) can help by indicating which things belong together. For example, in the screenshot, a blank spaces appears only between points in the list, thus making it visually clear which content belongs to which point, and where one point ends and the other begins.
Let's not change the image padding for now, but keep this open so that we can collect more views on this aspect.

Problem
Currently, there is no/minimal spacing between images and text. This makes reading difficult for the student because the information is too cluttered.
Proposed
To increase the margins (e.g. 20px) between text and images. To increase the line height for text for better readability.
