Compilation of reqwest through GitHub Actions fails

Scenario

As part of our compilation we are using sccache 0.3.3. This package depends on reqwest v0.11.14. The cargo install of sccache fails as reqwest is not compiling. This version used to successfully compile as part of GH Actions, so the issue might actually be GH related, but maybe you can point me in the right direction.

Error message

error: failed to parse bitcode for LTO module: Explicit gep type does not match pointee type of pointer operand (Producer: 'LLVM14.0.5' Reader: 'LLVM 14.0.5')
error: could not compile `reqwest` due to previous error

GitHub Actions - runs-on: ubuntu-22.04

Hm, this was just reported here too: #1746

What version of rustc/cargo are you using? It sounds like a compiler bug.

Thanks for the quick response! Sorry, didn't check the closed issues. From the GH Actions log I can pull these versions:

• cargo x86_64 1.67.0-2.fc36
• rust x86_64 1.67.0-2.fc36
• rust-std-static x86_64 1.67.0-2.fc36

We haven't changed anything in reqwest, and the last CI runs have it passing on all the various targets we check. Seems worth filing an issue for rustc.
