Why the code does not compile vs why it does compile

Hey, Rust newbie here. Could some Rust guru help me to wrap my head around of why the following code compiles

    let html = reqwest::get(get_word_url(word))
        .await
        .map_err(ScrapeErr::GetRequestErr)?;

    let html = html.text().await.map_err(ScrapeErr::GetRequestErr)?;

but the following does not:

    let html = reqwest::get(get_word_url(word))
        .await
        .map_err(ScrapeErr::GetRequestErr)?
        .text()
        .await
        .map_err(ScrapeErr::GetRequestErr)?;

which produces the following error:

   | |__________________________________________- has type `Result<reqwest::Response, ScrapeErr>` which is not `Send`

68 |           .map_err(ScrapeErr::GetRequestErr)?;
   |                                              - the value is later dropped here
   = note: required for the cast from `[async block@src/main.rs:33:60: 55:6]` to the object type `dyn Future<Output = Result<tonic::Response<GetWordDefinitionsReply>, Status>> + Send
