Display status (connected, disconnected, dimmed)

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I have an application for which I'd like to stop running actions in case there is no monitor connected or if it's dimmed (i.e. screen off due to inactivity).

Maybe this information can be included in the graphics.display?
