Android and iOS are both third-party apps, and as far as I know they only use ble chips without using any other gps, etc. It is also the location of the tag sent through Apple's find my network, and android apps too. Was their implementation an improvement on the openhaystack project? Will a large number of third-party tags generate public keys that conflict with one of Apple's certified tags?What are the legal risks of such mass use?

I got one, it was just a ble chip (CH571F) that didn't use gps, so I'm pretty sure it used iOS's find my network to locate it.But how does it access Apple's private network on android? The app accesses findmytag.online's network to get some data, presumably because the server is accessing Apple's private network.
