Sleep timer does not work

I love the RadioDroid app and use it daily to listen to my favorite radio stations. Last night while going to sleep, I tried to use the sleep timer feature and set it to 30 minutes. However, the radio kept playing even after the 30 minutes were over. A bug, any workaround?

I am using 0.86 version from F-Droid on my Android 14.
