Trouble setting up Lutron RA2

Tried installing Lutron RA2 on my windows 10 install of Homebridge (Hyper-V) It crashes the homebridge forcing restarts. I moved it to a child bridge that keeps restarting. For a while I thought it was an incorrect login as other logs showed I had made a typo. I uninstalled and reinstalled correcting the password but logs showed the same password. I removed the plugin again and shut down the system and rebooted. I see errors for credentials but I do not see it passing the actual username and password I saw in the log prior to creating the child bridge. This is using the lutron hub V1. I assume I could buy the new hub and configure the hub in the lutron app and bypass homebride. I "assume" this plugin is for the v1 hub?
