Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

Behaviors that contribute to our mission:

  • Providing constructive, specific feedback on code and technical decisions
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints while maintaining focus on technical excellence
  • Taking responsibility for mistakes and learning from them
  • Making decisions based on what best serves the project and its users

Unacceptable behaviors include:

  • Harassment of any kind
  • Personal attacks or derogatory comments
  • Trolling or deliberately disruptive behavior
  • Publishing others' private information without permission
  • Any conduct inappropriate for a professional environment

Project Maintainer Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining focus on technical excellence and project objectives
  • Enforcing standards of professional behavior
  • Taking appropriate action on contributions that don't align with project goals
  • Addressing behavior that disrupts project progress

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces and when representing the project publicly, including official communications, code contributions, and project events.

Enforcement

Violations can be reported to the project maintainers. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly, focusing on maintaining project momentum and professional standards. Maintainers will respect reporter privacy and handle incidents with appropriate discretion.

Actions taken in response to violations will be determined based on:

  • Need to maintain a professional working environment

Responses may include warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent removal from project spaces.
