Was wondering if we should/could add the Graz Ambisonics rendering techniques sometime:

ALL-ROUND AMBISONIC PANNING: ALLRAP
All-Round Ambisonic Decoding: AllRAD

from

[Zot12a] Zotter, F.; Frank, M. (2012): “All-round ambisonic panning and de-
coding.” In: J. Audio Eng. Soc., 60(10):807–820.

It seems that cinema and e-music people like this stuff more than other HOA.

Implementation holds also for the SSR...

Would be very nice to have some "normal" Ambisonics as well as at the moment nobody cares about NFC-HOA. Have you some experience with using/testing/implementing it?

Hi Hagen, Frank

for an AllRAD implementation, you might want to check out github.com/polarch/Higher-Order-Ambisonics

It's a secret weapon for seasoned immersive audio producers and perfect for soundscapes. A spherical projection of sound coming towards the listener with the ability to render to various channel configurations (orthodox with AIRAD or unorthodox with AIRAP), so it's also transferable to other formats down the pipeline, like channel-based surround and binaural stereo. It's also a hit with audio/radio dramas and immersive podcasts.
