So Windows Forms is now part of .NET Core 3.0 and building samples (like https://github.com/sharpdx/SharpDX-Samples/tree/master/Desktop/Direct2D1/AdvancedTextRenderingApp) works fine.
Are there any plans to mark the nuget sharpdx packages as compatible so we don't get those errors:
